Gudjinburra Community & Elders x Native Foods Workshop x Lunch
ABOUT
An exciting opportunity to join Gudjinburra community members and elders, the traditional custodians of food and culture in Fingal, for an interactive bush walk through Fingal headland to gain a deeper appreciation of native ingredients endemic to the Tweed region and what the bush has to offer. Listen to stories about food as a love language, the evolution and revolution of food in our community, and forging authentic relationships with our food source.
Meet at the Fingal Surf Club for a Welcome to Country before heading off on the guided walk. Gudjinburra mob love to feed people and upon return to the Fingal Surf Club, you’ll enjoy a traditional family-style cook-up lunch—sharing from the pot and tasting some of the native ingredients you have seen on your walk.
While you’re there, view the pop-up local artists' gallery.
